Who said information is boring?

The fact that a text is informative doesn’t mean it has to be boring. On the contrary, the easier the text is to read, the more chance there is of the message sinking in.

In an informative text, the reader is informed about a particular subject by way of facts or opinions. The aim is to increase the reader’s knowledge of the subject. That can be done objectively, by illuminating the various sides of the issue and allowing readers to form their own opinions. But informative texts are also often used to influence the behaviour of readers – for example, to encourage them to be vaccinated before going on holiday or live and work in a more energy-conscious way.

Whether you want the facts to speak for themselves or you want to convince people with solid arguments, .DOC can help you. We’ll make a clear distinction between the main issues and the side issues, and we’ll highlight the subject matter by giving it an economical structure and making sure the reader isn’t distracted by redundant information. Through the years, we’ve done exactly that when writing or correcting:

  • brochures
  • reports
  • annual statements of accounts
  • informative texts
  • articles
  • case stories, and
  • books
